The Cavaliers finally have an opponent for the Conference Finals after the Orlando Magic defeated the Boston Celtics on Sunday.

Led by Hedo Turkoglu’s 25 points and 12 assists the Magic won 101-82. Orlando made 13-21 three-pointers in the game, while Boston went just 4-16 from beyond the arc. Paul Pierce went just 4-13 in the game as his team shot just 39 percent from the field. The game caps off a back-and-forth series that saw the Magic come back from a 3-2 deficit to upset the second-seeded Celtics.

Dwight Howard averaged 17.2 points and 12.8 rebounds in the series to lead Orlando, who will attempt to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1995. The Celtics chance to repeat as champions now ends. They had played through several key injuries in the postseason, including the loss of All-Star Kevin Garnett, who missed all 14 of the Celtics playoffs games with a knee injury.

The Cavaliers will now miss a chance to get payback on a Celtics team that defeated them in seven games in last season’s Conference Semifinals. Instead they will play the Magic, who beat the Cavs in two of their three matchups in the regular season, including a 116-87 thrashing in early April.

There will be no shortage of star power in the series, as 2008 Olympic teammates LeBron James and Dwight Howard will face each other for the first in the postseason. Both franchises have a chance to make history this season as neither the Cavs or Magic have ever won an NBA Championship.

The series will begin on Wednesday night in Cleveland at The Quicken Loans Arena.
