James Best Player in East For November

LeBron James was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month on Friday.

The award is actually for a combination of two months, October and November, because opening night in the NBA was October 27th.

James is more than deserving of the award. He averaged 29.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and eight assists in October/November. He was first in the East in scoring and second in assists.

It is the 12th time in his career he has won the award and the second-straight year he has won it for November.

Carmelo Anthony was awarded Western Conference Player of the Month.
